Angelina Jolie to play Cleopatra

It seems pretty official; the current Queen of Hollywood is to reprise the role of a former Queen of Hollywood (Elizabeth Taylor) as the Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra.
Inspired and perfect casting, without doubt. And if they get Brad to play Marc Anthony the show is really on the road.
For the tabloid rags that have waged a relentess war against Angelina for 5 years, well, they always have the ‘news’ that their cut price poor Jen will masturbate on camera at the age of 42 and that she’s eaten the same salad for 10 years

My friend and yours, Ted Casablanca seethes when talking about Angelina Jolie. How dare she be all the things his Jen isn’t? Tom Cruise can’t reach the pedal on his scooter and they rework the character and give it to Angelina. She’s making a movie, giving a speech to high ranking officials about refugees, making babies, adopting babies…… she’s a busy person. However what I as a movie goer care about is, she can act. She would make a really good Cleopatra.
It says a lot about how Hollywood feels about her when they gave her the lead in Salt, a blockbuster costing 150 mil.
