Like a lot of women I, (inexplicably) have a secret crush on Simon Cowell. Yes, I know it’s hard to explain; he’s average looking, exploits the masses horribly with cheesy programmes full of deluded wannabees with, at best, mediocre talent and wears his trousers unfeasibly high up his waist.
But, I don’t know, there’s just something about him. *shrugs*

Nowhere Boy - film review

If you think you largely know about John Lennon, think again. Nowhere Boy, the feature debut from artist Sam Taylor-Wood, takes a look at the formative years of the cultural icon revered by millions thirty years after his death at the hands of a disturbed ‘fan.’
Nowhere Boy is not a Lennon biopic. It is a beautifully sensitive portrayal of a family torn apart by the social norms of the day while presenting a wealth of imaginatively presented insights into what early experiences fuelled a musical genius. Finally seeing my idol Roger Federer play

Tennis is one of my great passions.
During the two weeks of Wimbledon in the summer I practically live at the All England club or am in front of my television lapping up the play. For the record Roger Federer [the GOAT- greatest of all time] is my all time favourite player. Andy Murray is my least favourite.
