A study of the male psyche in Britain over the past 80 years has revealed a shocking insight into the masculinity of blokes today. And believe it or not - it seems the British men of today are more comfortable ironing than they are under a car bonnet! Continue Reading »

I just can’t believe this when I first read it. A teacher asks a group of kindergarteners to vote if a 5 yr old, possible autistic child should remain in the classroom and to state what they didn’t like about him while he stood in front of the class!! What the he!! is wrong with person. And the biggest insult imo is that the state attorney’s office didn’t feel this fell into the realm of child abuse. Incredible!! Many months ago there was a teacher from England who was jailed for having her class in the middle east vote on the name of a teddy bear. The people at this school were offended b/c the bear of voted by the children to name the bear Mohammed. Although I don’t personally believe this woman deserved to be jailed it seems to have some merit for this teacher in Florida imo. Maybe then she might feel what it is like to be socially ostracized for a time. I am so outraged about this I am spitting nails. I don’t care if this child has Asperger’s syndrome or a sinus infection, what right does this teacher have to take a vote to establish if a child should belong in a class or not. I am not saying he may not be appropriate for the type of mainstream class he is/was currently in but to do it this way is cruel and heartless imo. Continue Reading »

Is it just my imagination or is this world going to hell in a hand basket? We have teenagers posing in seductive photos, girls running around showing their private parts to anyone who will look and now the clincher, parents putting their children up for auction on E-bay.

According to this article the parents were willing to accept a dollar and sixty cents for this seven month old child. What kind of a person would do that? According to them it was a joke, well I for one don’t see it as a joke. I have to admit I’m glad to see the child was taken from them. Is life to them of so little value they would consider this? I had three children eleven months apart and it was hard, sometimes frustrating but NEVER did I have any thoughts of getting rid of them . I think these people need a reality check and fast.

For most of my life I have been terrified of bees. It didn’t help that I was one of those kids that liked to run around bare footed, I dodged flowers fearing a bee might be there somewhere. As I grew so did the phobia, just the humming sound could get me up and moving. Not only did the little beggers hurt when they stung me, it was a wait and see if I was going to be alright or was a trip to the doctors in store?
This year for the first time in my life I miss the bees. Where are they? I saw one on the backyard bench but he was dying. Then yesterday I saw one on the deck and he was dying as well. Why? Why aren’t there any bees on the flowers? Continue Reading »
