Her detractors (almost all women) like to claim that women don’t like Angelina Jolie.
They should have been at the premieres for Salt in London, Paris and Berlin and seen the women, young and old, black and white perching precariously on high walls, clamouring up lamp-posts and hanging from the nearest statue of a long dead statesman or royal, just to catch a glimpse of her. They clutched their posters of Salt and strained every muscle in their bodies just to be able to say (as one woman put it) ‘I was there, I saw her.’ Continue Reading »

Even the quality broadsheet newspapers are tired of Jennifer Aniston. The above article from the Independent is harsh but accurate when it asks the question ‘When will Hollywood give up on Jennifer Aniston?
Forbes magazine has asked the question as have other notable US publications.
The questions came as Iggy Pop lookalike Ms Aniston unleashed her latest cinematic turd on the world last week and the weary world responded by giving her an embarrasing $8million back. Even for a cheap film, (the only sort Aniston is offered) it was a kick in the teeth for the National Enquirer queen. With a large publicity budget to be added to the $16 million production cost the film can be filed under major flop since Aniston films make negligible money outside the USA. Continue Reading »

It seems pretty official; the current Queen of Hollywood is to reprise the role of a former Queen of Hollywood (Elizabeth Taylor) as the Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra.
Inspired and perfect casting, without doubt. And if they get Brad to play Marc Anthony the show is really on the road.
For the tabloid rags that have waged a relentess war against Angelina for 5 years, well, they always have the ‘news’ that their cut price poor Jen will masturbate on camera at the age of 42 and that she’s eaten the same salad for 10 years

The 34th Mind body spirit festival is on in London again from 26th until 31st May. It’s an incredibly popular and well organized event that draws thousands of fans each year. Every aspect of self development, natural health and psychic phenomenon is available whether you’re a believer or a sceptic. There’s something for everyone from free meditation classes to talks and workshops by renowned speakers and ofcourse dozens of stalls selling everything from crystals to smoothies.
Well worth a visit. Be prepared to spend the day there though!

Finally seeing my idol Roger Federer play

Tennis is one of my great passions.
During the two weeks of Wimbledon in the summer I practically live at the All England club or am in front of my television lapping up the play. For the record Roger Federer [the GOAT- greatest of all time] is my all time favourite player. Andy Murray is my least favourite.
